About the Event
Join us for a DIY Abacus Making Workshop. Learn how to make and use a Soroban (Japanese abacus) to perform simple math operations. In this session, participants will be introduced to the Soroban – an ancient Japanese Abacus. Together, we will learn how to make and use one to perform simple math operations. Invite your youth groups, friends, and educators, to join us on Zoom at on Saturday, May 15 @ 11 am EST for a fun and engaging time as we bring the abacus beads to life while adding some excitement to the wonderous world of mathematics.
